City of Cupertino – Regnart Road Repair Project
In 2024, Brannon Corporation completed construction of The Regnart Road Phase I Repair Project for the City of Cupertino. The project entailed structural stabilization of a failing slope adjacent to a city street – both the uphill and downhill edges of the roadway, enhancement of drainage facilities, and repaving of the road for motorist use.
      • PROBLEM: Road repair work to mitigate roadway embankment distress and slope failures.
      • SOLUTION: Tree clearing, excavation, construction of concrete slab and pin pile wall adjacent to the hillside cliff as well as construction of a retaining wall on the opposite side consisting of 12 soldier pile piers with depths of 35 feet and related horizontal laggings, installation of discharge back-drain pipes and catch basins with HDPE pipes, and regrading and repaving of the roadway.
      • TRANSFORMATION: The City of Cupertino recognized successful completion of the project largely attributed to Brannon’s real-world practice of its “Collaborative Construction” partnership approach utilized by Brannon on each of its projects – “Thanks to the collaborative efforts of staff, the contractor, and engineers, this project was completed on time and within budget, with focused efforts towards minimizing impacts to the public.” See Brannon’s press coverage section to view the writeup on the City of Cupertino’s media webpage.
